Thanks for stopping by. My name is Mark, and I am a journalism freshman here at the University of Texas at Austin. I grew up in Austin and attended Anderson High School. After UT I think I will be just about ready to burst out in to the world and live and work in an entirely new state, or even a new country. I chose journalism because of its blend of discovery and writing, and in the future I plan to work for a travel magazine and visit as many countries in the world as I can. When I'm not writing, traveling, schooling, or sleeping, or hanging out with friends, I like to do anything else active. This includes a variety of things, but most notably running, biking, drumming (I'm in a band just like everyone else in Austin), driving, or working on my car.
